Our Vision is to Create a World where Fashion, Social Conscience & Sustenance coexist together in perfect balance.
Founded in December 2019, our journey at The Cause Wear has been deeply influenced by the transformative events of the pandemic in 2020.
It was during the pandemic that we recognized the significance of community support and the role our company could play in creating a more positive and inclusive world.
Operating as a pure not-for-profit venture, every sale we make on TCW goes straight into uplifting communities that have been neglected or working with causes that deserve our collective attention.
How We Started
2019 - 2020
The Cause Wear (TCW) was started in the year 2019 by Shreya Chauhan as a project driven by the idea of bringing sustainable clothing and reducing plastic pollution.
2020 - 2021
TCW piloted its concept, gained incredible support, and greatly impacted society. The idea was to drive positive change and shape a sustainable future.
2021- 2022
TCW launched a new website & online store, strengthening its mission as a not-for-profit organisation and we also introduced our first 100% recycled T-shirt, prioritising genuine sustainability.
2022 - 2023
TCW started PET bottle recycling and joined hands with corporates to offer sustainable fashion-forward products, reducing the impact of fast and luxury fashion.

Fueled by a deep commitment to recycling and sustainability, she embarked on a mission to make a significant difference in the country and spread the idea far and wide.
Witnessing the industry’s environmental impact, she seized the opportunity to create a socially impactful fashion movement.
Leading The Cause Wear at just 26, Shreya is driving the vision of controlling carbon footprint and revolutionizing fashion through projects like PET bottle recycling.
